Mr Gay Oz is the original and authentic Mr Gay competition in Australia.
We are a not-for-profit LGBT community health organisation with a mission to raise awareness for LGBTIQ issues concerning sexual and mental health, equality and homophobia in society, through a fun and frivilous event such as the Mr Gay Oz competition.
Our newly formed Board of Directors consists of six appointed community members who are eager to drive the organisation and competition in 2012.

David founded the Australian Mr Gay competition in 2003 and continues his involvement in the newly Incorporated organisation as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
It was his vision and dedication that has made Mr Gay Oz the success it is today.
David is passionate about making a difference in the community, with his involvement in many charitable organisations, as Chairman of student publication, Xceler8 Media Inc. and Organisational Development Manager of Keep Australia Beautiful Queensland.
His dedication to the not-for-profit sector is acknowledged through various awards, with the Fundraising Institute Australia, including the "Fundraiser of the Year" with World Vision, for his "40 Hour Lock In" event at the Big Brother Australia house at Dreamworld.
David is the Executive Director of Dimension 8 Marketing Pty Ltd; a boutique marketing and communications firm in Brisbane and a Director of Noxic Pty Ltd; a national debt recovery agency.
